Get away now. NEW
by: Mike

If you're a licensed therapist, just think about what you'll lose if you break the trust of a client/therapist relationship. Think of how much work and time it took you to get to the point of being licensed and a legitimate professional in your field, and ask yourself if losing all of that is really worth this individual that you seem to have feelings for.

While feelings of arousal are normal to a point, acting on them in any way is wrong and will lead to bad results. I'd advise you to explain to this client that you simply cannot see them in a professional capacity any longer. If you still wish to see each other afterward that's your prerogative but I wouldn't recommend it.

being turned on my massage client/trade buddy NEW
by: Raul D

Yes while it is a normal thing for this to happen..i implore you to find another trade buddy if possible. Maybe a male if you have one who you can trade with..or someone you are not attracted to whatsoever. I have found in this moment if i find myself to find the client attractive i immediately visualize a fat hairy bear of a man and all my sexually aroused thoughts cease shortly afterwards. That being said i had to stop trading with some young lady not because i think i was attracted to her but because she started being really codependent and jealous/upset if i would not be able to trade with her often/traded with another massage therapist(who was a male/gay guy at that and i am straight) and i was like, listen..I am your colleague, not your boyfriend. Needless to say she twisted that into me saying i thought she was my girlfriend..which i never said. So i choose people to trade with whom i am not attracted to, preferably males or older female lmts who are very experienced as it is so its a way for me to learn.
