Hi There
First off it's important to know that warts are caused by a virus. Plantar warts(on the bottom of the feet) also known as verruca pedis, warts on the hands or elsewhere known as verruca vulgaris and approx. 5+ other variations are all caused by a virus called 'Human Papilloma Virus" of which there are estimated to be 130 variations of that pesky virus.
SO, that said, what does one do?
Well, considering that a virus is not techmnically "alive" we can't just go out and get the best herbal or pharmaceutical weapon and nuke the sucker...because it's like attempting to kill a computer program or a corporation or the Vampire Lestat....it's not alive, so how can we kill it?
Well, we can't.
However, that's not the end of the story here...
When we look at the life cycle of a typical virus, we discover it must have the correct conditions available in order to reproduce (and therefore express itself via symptoms or in our case, warts.)
So, next task is to consider what is an environment which discourages viral replication?
First off most viruses love acidic environments. SO, you might be well served by engaging in an alkaline diet for a few months...you can find this info online if you look...generally and 80% Alkaline/20% acid diet is recommended...
You might want to go full tilt and do a 7 day tissue cleanse...you can get this info from a book by Bernard Jensen, DC call Tissue Cleansing Through Bowel Management...I highly recommend it..I've used this approach since I healed myself from a number of health complaints in 1989...
Another thing you might check out is called either 'Live Cell Analysis" or Dark Field Microscopy Blood Analyis" This is, bar none, the best answer to the question, "How am I doing?" A qualified practitioner can look at a few drops of your blood and show you exactly how you're doing with regards to your blood content and health status.
And the best thing you can take, if you're into nutritional supplements is Lysine...
Again do some Searches and you'll discover that Lysine (an amino acid) goes a long way to suppressing the expression of viruses (as in HSV-cold sores, warts, etc.)
OK so now you've got a few things to go on...
And in the mean time, a finger cot is a totally cool idea....
Peace

If you are not sure , just wear a finger cot. A box of 24 will set you back about a $1.99 ..
Go see your Md to have it diagnosed.
