Common warts on my hand

As a therapist I have just recently discovered a blister that may be a wart on my right ring finger. I've performed massage without covering affected area.

What are the chances (assuming it is a wart) that I have spread this condition to my clients?

Will skin on skin contact transfer or does there have to be an open wound?
