We had a better than average mix 4 of 15 male and about an equal mix of male and female instructors.
Myself and the shipwright were making a career change for the sake of our bodies; the blind Samoan to be a sport team therapist; The young man being sponsored by the man that he was care taking was the odd ball. He had issues about women that erupted during the ethics portions of the class work.

Most of the females were mature and several had psychology degrees so rather than disrupting the class he became a learning example. With the assistance our instructor for first quarter practical that we called "dura mater" translates out as tough mother He turned out quite well.

From one of the male instructors we had a first hand story of a female client that would deliberately pop her breast out from under the drape and then stalked the therapist.

Choosing a specialty where I work mostly with clients clothed, I have had little problem with gender differences. My policy is to treat women as ladies and men as gentleman; the results has been respect and referrals.
