elements therapeutic massage
by: Raul A. DeLaRosa

I have actually seen one of those locally here, although i believe they went under due to not being able to compete with zen massage and Massage Envy.

They are kind of like a fancier/much nicer version of Massage Envy. If you can find one that will keep you busy enough, and take you on then i say go for it.

I had applied at one and they said that they would love to hire me but i had insufficient experience. I feel that was wrong of him, the owner to assume that i could not do a quality massage yet it was his business and his choice to make such hiring decisions. Sadly to say, he is not in business now not because it was not a nice facility, because i almost went there to get a massage, but they cannot compete with Massage Envy. I even tried to find a job at massage envy but it seems like being a male lmt if you do not know someone who works there who can put in a good word for you then do not waste your time applying there.

I feel that elements though would be a good option if they will take you on and keep you busy, not treating you as their 'male token option' as one of their competitors treated me during my short tenure there..that being said i do not really seek employment at places like that. As males have a hard time staying busy at those places.
