no choosing therapists at student clinic by: Raul Alberto
I applaud you for making that determination, at the school i went to as well they had chosen this so that the male students could get to practice as well equally. May i further encourage you if you are not or have not implemented also being honest and upfront with the male students before they graduate as to the challenges that lie ahead once they go out into the real world.
The school i went to failed to be honest about it, and then when i had mentioned i have had some challenges getting interviewed they put words in my mouth and said that i said i cannot get a job because im a male, which i never said. Needless to say i have told everyone to avoid that school,
I am currently working in a clinical environmentbut its the first job i have had as a massage therapist in 2 years. I feel every school should be honest with their male students, few probably do..but i applaud those who are honest, and who will help the male lmts find work upon them graduating, which my school did not do either.
