SBI / Male Massage Therapist

Hello,

My Name is David Goettel and I am a male massage therapist living in Montana and a current SBI'er.

I enjoy your site and some of the humorous approach to being a male in a female dominated profession. I have been a male massage therapist for over 10 years now - mostly part time. I tend to give allot of my service away and my friends call me Doctor Dave. They tend to call me when in pain.

I have been very successful with barter. Living in Montana I am even in a greater minority of the male/female therapist ratio. My guess is about 5% of massage therapists are male.

I have started an SBI site www.massagetherapytrends.com

Massage Therapy Trends - I am just starting to launch the site with about 16 pages to date. I am finding that there is allot of work involved - and I have training in building sites...still, I am committed to providing a quality site.

I was injured in a head on car collision about 3 years ago (shattered my heel bone) and have trouble standing for long periods of time - so my days of operating a massage practice are over, but... I am trying to use my knowledge to help others to find a career in massage. At the same time, I would like to build a revenue source for living on.

My question is - I see your name out there, as well as the bodyworker's name (Julie?).. and I am curiuos to ask what I might be able to expect from my Massage Therapy Trends site.

I plan on making another site soon that involves American men and Philippine women. I have found and am getting married to a pretty Filipina this fall. I am so impressed with this woman and the family way of life over there (I just fell completely in love with her family) - that I see this website to be fun developing while I learn more about their culture and way of life.

Anyway - that is my web building plans and I hope I can generate an income from these sites. I just wanted to introduce myself and pick your brains a bit. If you have any words of wisdom - or input for me, I would appreciate greatly.
